GRFX Granular Effects is a comprehensive granular effect sandbox designed to transform your audio in highly customizable and explorable fashions. Cut sounds into pieces and rearrange them into continuous or sparse textures, lush chords, note sequences, unusual patterns, bizarre atonal gestures, reverberating ambiances and more.

The 3-way transposition panel in the centre lets you “play” your shimmer, create chorus-like effects, generate huge pads from basic sounds and make anything into an arpeggio. Likewise, transpose down for large, bassy drones and ominous atmospheres.

Synchronize GRFX’s controls for rhythmic sequences, glitchy percussion stuttering and creative delay-like effects, or let them run freely for highly organic sonic evolution and unrestrained behaviours. The chance-based routing allows processing a portion of the grains through an additional multi-effect chain for even more nuanced and layered processing.
