In Session Audio Deep Pool v1.1 KONTAKT Update ONLY
Dive into A world of modern downtempo drums.
Deep Pool is a drum loop and sample virtual instrument designed to imbue low tempo music with mood, detail and rhythmic warmth.
Focused on a range of 60 to 84 BPM, Deep Pool weaves real world and electronic sounds to elevate the emotion and artfulness of any downtempo music.
With an eye towards flexibility, producers can customize the sound with real-time playable effects, deconstruct full mixes down to individual parts or samples, and use any loop at a large range of tempos (without any artificial stretching or artifacts).
With twenty suites of richly textured drums and a simple-to-use feature set, Deep Pool is helpful to anyone in search of distinctive percussive sounds.
The drum dilemma
Acoustic drums can often sound too plain.
Electronic drums can be “not natural enough”.
And “sound designed” audio needs context.
The trio combined
When combined in a purposeful way, acoustic and electronic drums with sound designed elements can convey a uniquely stylized percussive atmosphere.
The instruments
Deep Pool’s material comes from all three of these categories. The image shows a selection of instruments used in its creation.
Playable FX
Turn effects on and off in realtime from your keyboard: Panner, Filter, Crush, Phaser, LoFi, Delay & Reverb.
For added expression: connect any effect’s main control to the mod wheel with a click of its “MW” button.
Mixes, Stems, Parts & Samples
Producers have access to every element of a full mix loop.
All loop mixes are offered in full, minimal, low, mid and top combinations. Additionally, all individual parts of a mix (and the samples that made them) are freely playable.
Control Over Every Loop
With independent mix chains for every loaded part, it’s possible to have unique settings for every loop and sample (e.g., Volume, Pan, Stereo Width, Tune, EQ, Delay & Reverb and more).
No need to click around: the interface always displays the mix controls for the last played or selected part.
Tempo Flexibility
Use any loop at a wide range of tempos without artificial stretching or unwanted audio artifacts.
Combine parts from anywhere in the instrument without worrying about tempos.
